Megan Carter

I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve. And so once again, I'm in love, I'm in love and I don't care who knows it!

This time my affair is with the luminous and affordable designs of Megan Carter. How gorgeous are these drop earrings? Sophisticated, fun and classic.

CK Bradley and Ikat

Loving this print and dress by CK Bradley. It's like her own version of Ikat, inspired by a trip she took to Morocco a few years ago. Perhaps the resemblance wasn't even her intention, but it's amazing how the subconscious is influenced by the random images we're bombarded with on a daily basis. I love how it's similar to Ikat, but not actually Ikat like every other designer is doing right now. Ikat is great, but the whole craze has gotten a little...crazy. It's refreshing to have something unique. And it's made in the US! So cute!

My Favorite Summer 2010 Collections

The printed linen dress with awesome pockets above is just perfect. I'm in love.

DVF-- Yeah, I know the first dress is sooo similar to the Tory Burch one I posted on a while back, but I love the print

Emilio Pucci

Roberto Cavalli

(Thanks to Saks Fifth Avenue for all the great images)

Smocked Bodices-- Current?

When I saw the new Vineyard Vines catalog, I thought "Gross... that madras dress looks like a bad take on Juicy's terry dresses circa 2003"-- the bodice stitching just looks very cheap to my eye. Then I saw a very similarly styled dress by Milly in a print that I just love (seen above).

What do you guys think? Is the bodice cheap looking? Does anyone have the bad flashbacks that I'm having?

I'm home from school and can't wait to get out on the streets! I've decided to start a street style blog-- if any of my readers would like to contribute or collaborate, let me know!

Naeem Kahn

How gorgeous is the detailing on the jacket?? Not Nantucket in the least...totally overstated. Like Tory Burch embellishment on steroids. Lots of steroids. Sometimes though, I just want to rebel and wear something crazy like this. If only i could have a place to wear it.... i guess anything goes in New York though, right?

Gossip Girl... Back and More Ridiculous than Ever

Serena and Damien exchange at the beginning was some of the worst writing this show has ever seen. I wanted to vomit at every word... "And you won all the athletic awards" .... Who talks like that????

Why the heck do the drugs have to be exchanged at the ambassador dinner? It's true that boarding school kids are experts at getting drugs into challenging places, but that type of elaborate plan seems completely unnecessary. And since when are the ambassador state dinners held in New York?

Nate would never have read "Anna Karenina." Blair continues to have the best lines.

Nate and Serena are both complete idiots so it does make sense that they both immediately forget Chappaquidick II, Serena turning down Nate for Trip and go to banging on the Waldorf's floor.

I was wondering why Serena and Nate were at the Waldorf's but of course Serena is headstrong enough not to have made up with her mother who was right about EVERYTHING.

Damien was so perfectly cast... looks like Patrick Bateman and Nate combined. And so cute.

But of course Serena isn't into Damien... He is shorter than her. He can't be more than 5'7.

I love Jenny showing up with Nate... when are they going to get together??

Why is Rufus intent on ruining things???
